Typhoon Roke

Many events had to be postponed or canceled because of this typhoon. In my case, The tennis competition was postponed and I stayed at home all day.

This typhoon doesn't look like usual ones, which bring heavy storm and rain. I could even see blue sky. I don't know why we give up many events because of this.

I hope it will be better weather next consecutive holiday.

Cat under the car

Recently hot weather lasts.
It seems that not only human but also cat wants cool places.
I found a cat under my car.




Japanese translation is following.

最近(さいきん)は 暑(あつ)い 日(ひ) が 続(つづ)きます。
人間(にんげん) だけではなく 猫(ねこ) も 涼(すず)しい 場所(ばしょ) が 欲(ほ)しいようです。
車(くるま) の 下(した) に 猫 を 見(み)つけました。

Squalls

Squalls repeatedly occured.
It seemed to be caused by a tropical low pressure.
I was going to play tennis but I couldn't do because the tennis courts were dipped with water of squalls.

スコール が 繰(く)り返(かえ)し 起(お)こりました。
熱帯(ねったい)低気圧(ていきあつ) が原因(げんいん) の ようです。
私(わたし) は テニス を する つもりでした が、テニスコート が スコール の 雨(あめ) に 浸(つ)かって できませんでした。
